Order by author, title or disordered?

I've actually already ordered my books very well. In the living room are the highlights, my favorite books and authors.
In my room is then in the back corner of the most interesting and less on the shelves again books that I liked by author, genre, title.

hold, sell or throw away?
I've given away a year ago, over 300 books for a Disability Agency, which sell books cheap on. I think 1000 books at home should be my limit. And now I can return 100 * pant *

buy short story or novel?
novel! Short stories I read do not like Harry Potter
